Oyster expert turned coder. What do oysters have to do with coding? Well nothing, except that both reveal how rewarding it is to create an ultimately sublime experience for customers. That experience is most aptly manifested by achieving simplicity. I believe simplicity is the illusion we create when the complexities of a system are truly understood. I am proud that I contribute to incredible culinary experiences, but I would prefer to contribute to a better future. I believe code has put me on the path to achieving that dream.

Promoted twice within first year, starting from having never shucked an oyster to running the entire oyster program. Responsible for oyster menu, pricing, staff training, quality control, and presentation. Head shucker on raw bar station five nights per week. Shucking oysters, conversing with customers and composing various custom seafood platters while simultaneously expediting tickets.
Identified and suggested new technologies and tools for enhancing product value. Performed alpha testing to verify software quality and function. Recorded defects and coordinated issue resolution with development team.
